New President of IDRC Appointed

The International Development Research Centre (IDRC) welcomes the appointment of David M. Malone as President. Mr Malone's appointment takes effect July 1. He replaces Maureen O’Neil who is stepping down after leading IDRC since 1997.

The Honourable Maxime Bernier, Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, made the official announcement February 20.
